(Rewarded Review) To an amazing light powdery, matte texture

I'm a lover of wearing sunscreen year round. It's so important to protect your skin from the elements by protecting your skin barrier and using sunscreen helps protect skin against pre-mature aging. This dermatologist recommended sunscreen is formulated with HELIOPLEX®. It provides a broad spectrum protection from UVA/UVB rays and contains an SPF 60. Lightweight and non-greasy on the skin. Contains this Dry-Touch technology that helps to mattify the skin which makes wearing under makeup perfect. Water and sweat resistant (80 minutes) formula.

Housed in a plastic squeeze tube, this product has a light, fresh scent. This milky coloured sunscreen has liquidy, but slightly oily texture. You need to shake it first before use so the sunscreen mixes well before application. As you rub the product into the skin, it absorbs quickly and within seconds of applying it turns from slightly tacky to an almost powdery, matte finish. With a slight white cast, it leaves skin with a nice healthy glow.

Great for both face and body.

Oxybenzone-free. Non-comedogenic. PABA-free.

MY THOUGHTS:

I've never come across a product that went from slight tacky, greasy feel to a powdery, matte finish in a matter of seconds. I can see why it's Neutrogena's best-selling sunscreen for a reason. Love how this wears under makeup and that it's great for the body too. I hate sunscreens that stay greasy after application and this definitely is not the case. Love how radiant my skin looks afterwards too.

Thank you @thisisbutterly and @Neutrogenacanada for gifting me this product and giving me the opportunity to try for free.
Product 3 months expired the day I received it.

First, it is mid-July 2024 in Texas. I ALWAYS check expiration dates. The expiration date on the sunblock was April 2024. I returned/replaced it thru Walmart. (My dermatologist says sunblock loses its efficacy after it expires.) The replacement product was received few days later and it expires in December 2026, so in the end it turned out okay. However, it was an inconvenience to go through the return/replacement process, and more importantly, I’m just wondering how many other people rec’d an old expired product and are unaware (and may subsequently get sunburned). It can also hurt the reputation of the actual product if it’s outdated, unrealized by consumer that’s it’s out of date, and the buyer thinks it just doesn’t work. **Walmart sellers needs to pay more attention to the expiration dates, and to rotating their stock correctly so this doesn’t happen. Second time it’s happened to me in 2 months.
Second, the Neutrogena Dry Touch sunscreen is a great product. I’ve used it for many years and it works well. It’s a lotion that doesn’t feel greasy 5 minutes after you put it on. Love it!
[Rewarded Review] It's Ok

This sunscreen is ok...kind of. I feel like there's a lot better options that are actually lightweight. This sunscreen is probably easily available at any store so you don't have to order like the sunscreens I much prefer(Korean, Japanese and Australian sunscreens) and actually enjoy.

This sunscreen is thick and once applied has a satin finish, but you can feel the layer on top of your skin the whole time. It pills very easily so when you reapply sunscreen you now have rolled up pieces of product. If you don't rub in the product SUPER well then you will get a very noticeable white cast. I still noticed a white cast after applying to finger lengths worth of product and rubbing it in well. I am light medium in skin tone. So you either have use just a little bit of the product or keep rubbing it quickly before it dries down, but don't rub too much otherwise you get while balls of product. I don't think this product would work well under makeup since it pills up.

I recently started using the Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF 70, and it has quickly become a staple in my sun protection routine. The lotion has a light, non-greasy texture that spreads easily over the skin. It absorbs quickly without leaving any white cast. The formula hasn't caused any breakouts or clogged pores on my combination skin. It’s free from parabens, which is a plus for those with sensitive skin. I used it during a beach outing and didn't experience any sunburn or redness, even after several hours in the sun. It's water-resistant for up to 80 minutes, which is great for swimming or sweating. The dry-touch finish is one of its standout features, making it comfortable to wear daily. The product comes in a convenient squeeze tube, which makes it easy to dispense the right amount without any mess. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-SPF sunscreen that feels great on the skin.
